Jukebox was founded in 2002 by Vikki to review the music she loved. Since then it has grown to include multiple authors, competitions, interviews and over 900 reviews of albums, singles, DVDs and live music.The site took a major step in it’s evolution in 2005 when it started acquiring media label partners to expand the range of music it handled and adding new features and services like the Festivals Details pages, competitions and the mailing list. In February 2007 the site underwent a huge relaunch, adding a brand new forum and the Guest Columnists section.
In January 2008 Vikki stepped down as Editor, leaving the site to Andy (formerly Rock & Metal Editor). Vikki continues to contribute as an occasional reviewer.
Jukebox’s reputation is one of in-depth reviews and no limits. Anything goes, from any genre, and if things need long reviews to entirely discuss them, then that’s what they get. There are no rules. Music is as expressive as it gets, and Jukebox aims to match it.
